FAQsA: Not Really - Head Liners are more than just Skull Caps.
Skull Caps are designed to keep your hair in place or to make a fashion statement,
and while CrownWear Head Liners do both very well, they also do so much more.
Head Liners use our revolutionary Filtration TechnologyTM to trap dirt, salt & oil.
This helps our Head Liners to maximize comfort by keeping you cool and keeping sweat out of your eyes,
and it also allows our Head Liners to keep your head gear looking, feeling and smelling newer longer
by preventing stains, odors and premature wear.
Return to Top A: Absolutely. The Head Liner is designed to be fully machine washable. We recommend that you wash it
with like colors in warm water (not hot), and tumble dry it on low heat (not high). Of course,
you CAN wash it in hot water, and dry it on high heat, but this will shorten the life of your Head Liner.

A: Yes (if you want them to). Our Head Liners are made of a stretchy material so they can
be pulled down to cover the top half of your ears. For maximum ear coverage, we recommend the Ultra-Thin
Protection Head Liners. They are the most flexible and will cover more of your ears.
Return to Top A: The Head Liner is designed to be worn beneath any type of head gear - or even by itself. The way you put
it on depends on what you wear it with. If you are going to wear your Head Liner with a hat, cap or stetson:
we recommend that you place the Head Liner into the hat so that the edge of the Head Liners lines up with
the rim of the hat. If you are going to wear it with a helmet, hard hat or beanie: we recommend that you
place the Head Liner on your head with the front pulled down to just above your brow line (to keep sweat
out of your eyes), and then place your head gear on your head.

A: For the most part, the size of your Head Liner depends on your hat size, according to the chart on the right.
However, some of our customers report
that they prefer a smaller Head Liner. If that sounds like you, then just get one size smaller than the chart
would indicate for your hat size.
Return to Top A: Hat sizes are actually a measure of the diameter of your head. To figure that out, you can measure the
circumference of your head with a piece of string (or a sewing tape measure) and divide by PI (3.14). Or you
can enter the circumference of you head into our hat size calculator which will tell you both your hat size
and your Head Liner size.

A: The Head Liner uses our proprietary Filtration TechnologyTM (patent pending) to trap dirt, salt and oil, as well as absorb
and hold onto sweat, all while maintaining breathability to keep you cool. We use natural fibers like cotton
and silk to maintain softness and breathability, while taking advantage of special methods of weaving fabric
maximize surface area, thus providing the necessary filtration. It all comes down to the perfect balance between
comfort and protection.
